# About

I'm Vlad Flaks, CEO of [OWOX](https://www.owox.com). I believe everyone can benefit from making data make sense.

I'm the inventor of a patented method for querying ontology models[1](#ref-1) in natural language and a speaker at [data analytics conferences](https://www.vladflaks.com/events/).

On this website, I share insights, ideas, and practical lessons learned while building AI Reporting Analyst — an open-source self-service analytics product with 170K+ users[2](#ref-2), a 4.9★ G2 rating[3](#ref-3), and 150K+ npm installs[4](#ref-4).

At a time when generating text is effortless, it's valuable to read the thoughts of someone who stands behind every word they write. No matter how many doubts I have about my own knowledge, the very process of putting my thoughts into words is valuable in itself[5](#ref-5).

You can find me in your favorite social bubble via **@vladflaks**.
